The Department of Assessment of clinical effectiveness and safety of medical devices.

The main tasks of Department No.4:

1. Collection and analysis of clinical data about the application of SCENAR devices and their analogs.
2. Analysis of the conformity of the declared functionality of SCENAR devices and providing recommendations on development of manufactured products.
3. Collection and analysis of data on incidents related to the use of medical equipment manufactured by the company and similar equipment manufactured by other enterprises.
4. Development of recommendations for improving the safety of the use of equipment in clinical practice.
5. Development of trial plan  and organization of clinical trials of SCENAR devices (in cooperation with the Problem laboratory of physical methods of diagnosis and treatment of Rostov State Medical University)
6. Production of operating documentation and maintenance of its database.
7. Preparation of analytical reviews proving the safety and clinical effectiveness of manufactured medical equipment for supervisory authorities.

The Department is headed by Alexander Cherchago, Sc.D.  

The Scientific supervision of the department is conducted by Alexander Tarakanov, Deputy Director for clinical trials. 

The Department No.4 reports directly to Yury Starovoytov, the General Director of RITM OKB ZAO.

In order to solve various problems of medical and biological nature, along with fully employed professionals, there are more than 7 experienced medical doctors working part-time, including

Dr. Larisa Klimova, Candidate of Medical Science, associate professor of the Rostov State Medical University (Rostov-on-Don);

Dr. Yury Perfilyev, Candidate of Medical Science, associate professor of the Rostov State Medical University (Rostov-on-Don);

Dr. Natalia Nikushina, M.D., Board Certified in Physiotherapy (Taganrog);

Dr. Vladimir Lopatko, M.D., Neurologist (Yekaterinburg);

Dr. Iosif Semikatov, M.D., Therapist (Yekaterinburg). 

The Department is cooperating with the Problem laboratory of physical methods of diagnosis and treatment of Rostov State Medical University. The Scientific Supervisor of the laboratory is professor Dr. Alexander Tarakanov, M.D., Head of the Department of Rostov State Medical University.

 Part-time employees of the Problem laboratory are the Head of the Department No.4 A.Y. Cherchago, principal R&D engineer A.Y. Molchanov, Sc.D., and a list of other RITM OKB employees.
