Interview with Iosif Semikatov
Iosif Semikatov is the doctor of general practice, cardiologist, emergency physician, and SCENAR therapist (Russia).
Dr Semikatov is one of the leading SCENAR therapists in Russia with more than 20 years of practice. He does SCENAR therapy since 1995 and provides SCENAR training courses which stay extremely popular.
1. Why did you start doing SCENAR therapy? How did it influence you?
I came to SCENAR therapy from conventional medicine. Before that, I spend many years working as an ambulance doctor. After some years I started to avoid patterns, finding individual therapy for every patient. When in 1995 I came across SCENAR technology, I realized that now I have an opportunity to provide an individual and universal approach to the therapy of different states and diagnoses of the patients.
2. How many patients did you cure with SCENAR? Could you please tell us about the most interesting cases.
It is not quite correct to say “cured”. What I did is helping these patients to overcome their problems. I am doing SCENAR therapy for almost 25 years now and though I actively work with my patients, I never kept the count. I had quite a lot of them, 8-10 people every day on average. There were many successful cases with great results, and many interesting ones too. However, I think that recalling particular cases is not that important. For me it is more important to say that since I started my work with SCENAR I have never stopped feeling excited about the possibilities put into our bodies by nature. These possibilities allow to obtain such results that the conventional medicine considers impossible.
3. What is the place of SCENAR in modern medicine in your opinion and where does it really belong?
Unfortunately, right now SCENAR’s place in modern medicine is not very significant. In my opinion, the huge range of this device’s possibilities allows to use it very efficiently in various medical fields. I hope that sooner or later SCENAR will become a common part of them, and at least will be used in the combined and complex treatment of patients with different pathologies. But the greatest effect can be achieved if you use SCENAR in the systemic treatment of the whole body with all its problems, not only the particular diagnoses.
4. How efficient is SCENAR in surgery?
In surgery, SCENAR can be used in different fields as well. For example – SCENAR therapy course as a pre-surgical patient preparation in case of scheduled surgery. Our goal is to reduce the contraindications and increase the general immunity of the body because every surgery is stress. Also, it can be a postsurgical treatment course for prevention and decrease of postsurgical aggravations. Another option is the local treatment of tissues in the projection of the upcoming surgery in order to prepare them for being traumatized. In turn, the postsurgical treatment in the projection of surgery can significantly speed up the tissue rehabilitation process, as well as decrease the risk of postsurgical aggravations without medications. It is important that SCENAR often helps patients to avoid surgery. For example, it can treat abscesses, whitlows, etc. The same relates to SCENAR application in gynecology, urology and other fields where surgery is applied.
5. So should SCENAR become a common doctor’s tool like a stethoscope or tonometer?
We should set our sights on it. However, every doctor should see the need for that by themselves, through their own experience. It is unlikely that we can obtain the desired result by forcing them to use the device.
6. How do you appraise the prospects of SCENAR therapy development in your country and worldwide?
The interest to SCENAR and SCENAR therapy, both in Russia and worldwide is growing every year. However, the perspectives are quite ambiguous. The more effective will be the universal results of this device and technology, the more active will be the resistance of the structures that see SCENAR as a real competitor that can curb their profits, even if it means worsening the patient’s well-being. This is why in the future we are likely to witness the increased pressure on different official bodies aimed at creating certain opinions and adopting resolutions that would hinder the development of SCENAR technology and its integration with the conventional medicine. Such integration requires significant scientific research and studies evidencing the efficiency of SCENAR and SCENAR therapy. That demands good financing, which lacks at the moment. However, I hope that after overcoming all the obstacles, this device and this technology will take its rightful place on its way to the more important aim – keeping people all over the world healthy.
