We are frequently asked why we keep using regular batteries in SCENAR instead of switching to a "more progressive" rechargable accumulators like in Physiokey. The experimental SCENAR model with an accumulator was created in RITM OKB ZAO back in 1987 - that was a modified SCENAR-033. However, we refused it. Why?

1. The doctors were complaining that after the accumulator is discharged, it is impossible to use for several hours while it is charging.

2. There were cases when the device went completely discharged during the intensive procedure involving high level of treatment energy. That put the doctor and patient into trouble if there are no other charged device nearby.

3. You can recharge the device, not waiting until the battery will be completely drained, but that will decrease the battery's life, since it has a limited number of charging cycles.

4. If your device died somewhere outdoors, it becomes useless until you find a power source.

5. Sure, you can use the powerbanks, but, first, they need to be charged as well, and, second, they need a special storage conditions.

All that problems can be easily avoided by using the regular batteries that you can get in every store.
